The Second batch of 269 Kwara’s pilgrims that performed this year’s hajj in Saudi Arabia have returned to Nigeria.

The pilgrims who boarded Air Peace’s aircraft departed Jeddah International Airport, Saudi Arabia at 9.45am Wednesday and arrived Ilorin International Airport at 1.38pm.

The first batch of 272 pilgrims from the state had last Wednesday returned to Ilorin .

The pilgrims who were received by their relations at the airport were in high spirit.

Some of the pilgrims, including a community leader in Ilorin AbdulRasheed AbdulKadir Olesin thanked God for ensuring their safe return to Nigeria.

They expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the members of the state pilgrims welfare board and government’s delegation while in the holy land.
