Jigawa state government has expressed satisfaction with the turnout of pupils and students of primary and secondary schools after holidays.

The state Commissioner of education, science and technology, Dr Lawan Yunusa Dan-Zomo made this known while receiving reports from the staff of the ministry who monitored the return of students to their respective schools.

He said the state had provided the covid-19 protective materials at schools for effective teaching and learning. 

Dr Lawan Yunusa Dan-Zomo therefore advised parents to make sure their wards were wearing face masks when going to schools.

He urged teachers to redouble efforts at imparting knowledge and moral characters among students to boost for the benefit of the state.
