Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano state has congratulated residents the celebration of this year’s Eid el Kabir festival.
The governor in a message urged muslims to remain steadfast and be supportive to each other.
He prayed for the pilgrims in the holy land for a safe journey back home.
Yusuf stressed the desire of his administration to support health care, education, environmental protection and agriculture.
He said the government will continue to emphasize on the welfare of the citizens
The Emir of Kano Alh Aminu Ado who received Governor Abba Kabir at Gidan Shetima urged Kano citizens to come out and be counted in the next census to maintain Kano’s position as the most populous state.
