Kaduna State Police Command has deployed 12, 000 police officers to ensure hitch free Sallah celebrations across the entire state.

The state commissioner of Police CP Musa Yusuf Garba announced this while speaking to newsmen on the security arrangements for the Ei-del kabir in Kaduna.

CP Musa Yusuf Garba warned trouble makers and all criminal elements across nook and cranies of Kaduna state to desist from any act capable of disrupting the celebration.

He stated that all divisional police officers and other strategic officers of the command had receive details of strategies to be adopted.

CP Musa Yusuf Garba therefore urged all Muslims to go ahead with celebrations without fear of intimidation and or threats.

Meanwhile, the command through the Police Public Relations DSP Mohammed Jalige paraded criminals arrested for committing various criminal offences such as kidnapping, armed robbery, rail track vandalism and 6 suspects in connection with the killing a Fulani Chief in Zazzau Emirate 2 weeks ago, Ardo Shuaibu Mohammed.

The command appealed to all residents to be at alert and promptly report any sign of criminal tendency to the Police.
