Petroleum Tankers Driver Association Kaduna State Branch has called on Federal Road Safety Corp to take necessary actions against the Jaji’s bridge along Kaduna Zaria road that causes many deaths of travellers.
The Chairman of the Association in Kaduna State, Alhaji Abdullahi Haruna made the call in an interview with radio Nigeria Kaduna.
He also advised the Kaduna State Traffic Laws Enforcement Authority KASTLEA that works within Kaduna metropolis to sanction those tankers found loading human being on top of the tanker in order to save life of passengers particularly at Jaji,s bridge.
Alhaji Abdullahi Haruna lamented that the community of Jaji have to come out always to alert the tanker’s drivers on the danger on that bridge but still many lost their lives on daily basis.
On sallah celebration, he also appealed to two road agencies to ensure that the speed of drivers are minimize and also arrest any driver that allow under age to drive during sallah and after to serve as deterrent to others.
