Kaduna State has urged local government Chairmen to activate their structures and mechanism for intelligent gathering and work closely with the security agencies to achieve adequate security in communities

The state governor Malam Uba Sani made the call when the local government Chairmen visited him at government house Kaduna.

Governor Sani said his Government would work closely with the local government Chairmen to build trust and restore peace in the trouble communities.

He urged them to work together deliver on the promises made to the people of Kaduna State, stressing that the era of inactive or failure is over because people expect results.

The Governor further stressed that, Effective intelligent gathering was critical in ensuring government success .

Malam Uba Sani restated commitment to promote and accelerating the rural development by extending the infrastructure in all the local government areas to achieve rapid economic growth.

In the execution of the State rural transformation, Governor maintained that, Kaduna State government would adopt inclusive approach where all stakeholders would be consulted and carried along.

He emphasized that, Local government Chairmen are key stakeholders, saying that government would play pivotal role in the rural revitalisation.

According to him, Traditional Rulers, Youths association, Faith based Organisations, Women organisation and community development association would be carried along in it’s collective drive to better the lives of people.

The ALGON Chairman in KADUNA state who is also Lere local government Chairman, Abubakar Buba expressed local government Chairmen and their determination to support the government to the socio economic development.

Buba stressed the need to be holding meeting with the governor quarterly to discuss on issues concerning local governments.
