Federal Government has been advised to as a matter of urgency prioritise the investment  in youth development as necessary ingredient that will fast track and guarantee sport development in Nigeria.

Head Coach Super Eagles of Nigeria and Outgoing President of Football Club Coaches of Nigeria Coach Ladan Bosso gave the advice in an interview with Radio Nigeria in Minna after returning from the World Cup in Argentina.

Coach Ladan Bosso explained that such advice became necessary because according to him this is the right thing to do if we really want to get it right.

This he said would enable Coaches to go to the grassroot and develop players but such Coaches need to be motivated to do more for maximum benefit.

The Head Coach of Flying Eagles Ladan Bosso however lamented that sometimes when Coaches make a team list  with lot of grassroot players people do raise some observations which he said wasnt the best way to go since it is capable of killing the morale of talents that are bound in the grassroot level.

According to him the system of allowing the Coaches to pick players from the grassroots by his employers encourage him to go with his philosophy because he has seen what he wanted from such youth at the grassroots who he said are ever ready to make Nigeria proud.

On if he will accept offer to Coach the Nigeria Super Eagles team Coach Ladan Bosso explained that it is the most thing that he will hate to go to the Super Eagles since he knows that he will be under a foreign Technical Adviser and again with ready made players.

He said he want to be celebrated as an indepedent and sole Coach if he has done anything good and criticised if something went wrong but not under somebidy.

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria though were eliminated in the quarter finals of under twenty World Cup this month have received a lot of commendation from sport lovers in the country for making Nigeria proud.
