Governor Uba Sani and His Deputy Dr Hadiza Balarabe

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has sought the support and corporation of traditional rulers across the state to enable his administration hasten the face of development in the State.

He stated this when he received Kaduna State Council of Traditional Rulers under the leadership of the Emir of Zazzau Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamali at government house Kaduna.

The governor who commended the traditional rulers for the visit, thanked them more sincerely for their support and prayers for his administration to succeed

Governor Uba Sani said traditional institution was critical to the success of any administration, stressing that he would effectively engage and involve the traditional rulers in policy making and implemention.

He noted that one of the key plans of his administration’s seven point agenda, was nurturing citizens and mobilizing people to take advantage of opportunities in education, health and commerce among other key sectors.

Governor Uba Sani further revealed that, there was no institution that was in better position to engage and mobilize people for all round development than traditional institutions.

“Traditional institutions has a critical role to play in putting together a frame work for intelligent gathering and interface with security agencies at the grassroot Level”

Emphasizing that, safety and security is a key priority of his administration, he e said to effectively tackle the menace of criminal elements they must put in place effective intelligent gathering systems.

In a remark, the Chairman, Kaduna State Council of traditional rulers, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamali said the purpose of the visit was to congratulate the governor for taking the mantle leadership of the state.

Ambassador Ahmad Bamali expressed confidence that Governor Sani he would continue with the good work that his predecessor has started.

He further assured that traditional rulers would support his administration .

Deputy governor of the State Dr Hsdiza Balarabe and other senior government officials were present during the visit .
