Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor has Commissioned fifteen Troops carrying Vehicles with a view to enhancing Cadet Training at the Nigerian Defence Academy-NDA, Kaduna.

At the Commissioning Ceremony, General Lucky Irabor said the vehicles would bridge the Gap in the movement of Cadets and equipment from One Point to another in the Academy.

He explained that in the course of Training, Cadets would be exposed to how Troops are moved in the theatre of Operation.

On the security situation in the North-East, the Defence Chief acknowledged the great improvement with Socio-economic activities thriving.

He noted that Military Presence in the Region is imperative because Security Challenges are yet to be Completely wiped off.

The Chief of Defence Staff who visited Maiduguri enroute Kaduna said he was in the North-East to boost the Morale of Personnel on the field, and to Convey the satisfaction of Mr.President on their efforts at restoring normalcy in the Region.

General Irabor however Commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his unwavering support to the Armed Forces.
