Following directives by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), to Commercial Banks on the issue of making Naira Notes much available to customers , Normalcy has began to surface in many states of the federation, with regards to the availability of the notes.

Meanwhile, Commercial Banks in Kano have adhered to CBN directives of dispensing Cash to Customers.

Radio Nigeria Visits some Banks across eight Metropolitan Local Government of Tarauni, Nasarawa, Gwale, Fagge, Ungoggo, Kumbotso, Nasarawa and Kano municipal, where huge Crowd of Customers are seen at Banks’ Automated Teller Machines (ATM) galleries.

Customers were seen standing on queues entering the Banking Hall, one after another also shared their experiences with Radio Nigeria.

Naziru Auwal is a POS Operator who was fortunate to receive fifty thousand to forty thousand naira from his Bank described it as inadequate.

Abubakar Muhammad, Ibrahim Shuaibu, and Rabi’a Tanko advised Banks to put modalities in place that would reduce over crowding by making cash available at all times.

Recall that, the Central Bank of Nigeria had on Friday 24 match announced the evacuation of Bank notes from it’s vaults to commercial Banks to ease the circulation of various denominations of cash.
