Governor Nasiru Elrufai of Kaduna State says the voting process of governorship and house of Assembly is smooth.
He stated this after casting his vote at polling unit 024 Unguwan Sarki Kaduna North local government.
Governor Elrufai explained that, the election process was generally peaceful across the state except in the few places of Southern Kaduna where he got report of Voters intimidation because people are being asked to vote for a periocular party or go back home.
According to him, security agencies are stepping in to deal with the situation.
“We anticipated some level of violence by the Grace of God there has been no report of that, reburst security arrangement were put in place to response to that intelligence”
Malam Nasiru Elrufai stressed the need for more people to come out and excercise their Democratic particularly the women.
