Kwara State Police Command says it has Put in Place Measures to ensure Adequate Security ahead of the Saturday,March 18th Governorship and State House of Assembly election across the State.
Spokesman of the Command SP Okasanmi Ajayi made the Statement in Illorin.
The statement said all Security Agencies in the State have resolved to Work in Synergy to Provide Adequate Security to ensure Credible, Peaceful and acceptable Election.
It also thanked the Inspector General of Police Alkali Baba Usman for supplying the Command with all necessary Logistics for smooth Conduct of the election.
SP Akasanmi Ajayi warned Criminal elements and Political thugs to shelve any plan to cause breakdown of Law and Order before, during, and after the elections.
He advised residents of the State to obey relevant Laws guiding conduct of the election.
