The Managing Director, Kano zoological Garden and wild life Management Agency, Alhaji Lawan Jinjiri Kurmawa,says arrangements were made towards Forthcoming Eid-ul-fitr Sallah Festival a joyful one.

Statement by the Public Relations Officer, Kano Zoological Garden Farouk Isa Musa and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.
The Managing Director assured Kano Resident and Visitors that, the Zoo would make their Sallah festivities more Exciting and Memorable.
He highlighted that, the Garden has an Amusement Park where Children can have Fun, saying that a New Children Ride was acquired for Kid’s maximum enjoyment.
Alhaji Lawan Jinjiri Pointed out that, the Zoo has a Botanical Garden, full of different types of Trees, Flowers and Shrubs that Provide Serene Environment for Relaxation.
Managing Director noted that, the Garden was establish in 1971, and Opened to the Public in 1972, by the then State Military Governor Late Alhaji Audu Bako with about 75 different Species Comprising, 350 Animals, including Mammals,Herbivores, Carnivores, Reptiles and Birds.
He urged People in the State, to fully utilize the facility all year round, not only during Sallah Festivities and Holidays.
