President Muhammadu Buhari has again met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Godwin Emefiele at the Presidential villa Abuja.

The meeting which took place on Monday, was held behind closed doors to discuss the current Naira swap situation that citizens have had to deal with.

Emefiele after leaving the President’s office declined to disclose details of his meeting with the President to reporters as it will be the third time on the Naira issue.

Since the redesign of the old notes, there has been mixed reactions from the populace due to its non availability and timing.

At the moment several states have dragged the Federal Government to court over the deadline for old Naira swap while the Supreme Court also gave a ruling on the matter.
