Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara State has sworn in nine newly appointed Special Advisers and four Court High Judges.

The swearing-in ceremony was conducted at the State Government House Chamber, Gusau the state Capital.

Speaking shortly after the oaths of office, Governor Bello Matawalle congratulated them for the new responsibilities and urged them to work harder in justifying the confidence reposed on them.

He reminded them that their selection was carefully made based on their track records of service in various capacities, as well their political antecedents

The Governor also urged them to discharge their duties without fear or favour, be God fearing and called on them to take crucial decisions that would impact positively on the lives of the people.

On the part of the newly Sworn-in Special Advisers, the Governor said their appointments was to inject the public service with fresh and capable hands to assist in effective service delivery.

He also informed the Special Advisers that they have the trust of the government and the goodwill of the general public.

The appointees included six former local government chairmen removed during the beginning of the administration, as well three others.

The three others ware the former BBC freelance journalist and Bayero University university lecturer Dr. Nura Makwashe Maradun.
