The New Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), Brigadier General Yusha’u Dogara-Ahmed, says the major focus of his administration are improving the security of Corps Members, providing enabling environment for Research and Development and strengthening stakeholders’ engagements.

The Director General stated this during the handover ceremony in Abuja.

He noted that capacity building will be enhancement and deepening the impact of the Skill Acquisition as well as Entrepreneurship Development program of the scheme.

Dogara-Ahmed, said, as a former Military Assistant to a Former Director-General of the Scheme, he had deep knowledge of the operations of NYSC and promised to bring in his wealth of experience to make remarkable achievements.

He solicited the cooperation of staff and stakeholders to enable the scheme move to greater height.

The out-going Acting Director General of the Scheme, Mrs Christy Uba, gave an assurance that the Management Team and other Staff would give the Director General the necessary cooperation to succeed.
