President Muhammadu Buhari has started a two-day official visit to Katsina State.

The President, who flew into the state on Wednesday night, is expected to inaugurate several projects executed by the Governor Aminu Masari-led administration.

The landmark projects include: Kofar Kaura Underpass, Kofar Kaura Water Works, Katsina State Internal Revenue House, Meteorological Institute, Darma Rice Mill, Batagarawa and Katsina State General Hospital, among others.

The projects are spread across the three Senatorial Districts of the State.

The State government had on Wednesday declared Thursday 26th and Friday 27th January as public holidays to enable citizens of the State give a rousing welcome to President Buhari, who is a distinguished son of the State.

The President had arrived in the State on Wednesday night from Dakar, Senegal, where he had participated in the 2nd Darkar Agricultural Summit.
