Unknown Gunmen have raided the Oluwalose community along Okolowo, a surburb of Ilorin , abducting unspecified number of residents.
Radio Nigeria gathered that the armed men arrived at the community midnight on Tuesday.
A source said at least 15 people including the community chairman, Mr Buhari Tunde were abducted.
The source said the unknown gunmen hurriedly left the community when they sighted the arrival of members of Operation Harmony tactical team .
Confirming the development, the Police Public Relations Officer Kwara state Command, SP Okasanmi Ajayi said only two men were abducted in the community, adding that efforts were being made to rescue the victims .
