Kwara State Government has directed the immediate payment of scholarship allowance to students of the state origin studying at the Nigerian Law Schools.

The State Commissioner for Tertiary Education Dr. Alabi Abolore made the disclosure while speaking with Journalists in Ilorin.

According to him the government will be transparent about the exercise, adding that the money will be paid directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries.

The Commissioner said that the state government will rely on the list it received from the Nigerian Law School .

Dr. Abolore explained that the Ministry was collaborating with the state Scholarship Board to commence the disbursement immediately.

The Commissioner, felicitated with Miss Omotayo Dada, an indigene of Kwara State for emerging the overall best graduating student at the Nigerian Law School.
