The Gubernatorial Candidate of the New Nigeria People Party NNPP in Nasarawa State Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya says the Party will entrench inclusive government and provide roles for traditional rulers towards Peace, Security and development in the country if voted into power next year.

Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya stated this when he visited the Paramount Traditional Ruler, the Abaga Toni in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area of the state.

The NNPP Governorship candidate explained that their Presidential Candidate, Dr.Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso had designed a Community Development Committee in the party’s programme with a view to engaging the traditional institutions across the country to actively participate in governance.

According to him, traditional rulers has a key role to play in maintaining sustainable Peace and Security as well as to provide rich inputs for development of the country in the areas of budgetary provisions and rural infrastructure.

Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya said the poverty level in Nasarawa State had continued to rise in the last three years, adding that, he will provide good governance aimed at responsive to the critical needs of the people if elected as Governor of Nasarawa State in the twenty twenty three general elections.

Responding, The Abaga Toni, Mr. Lawrence Sylvester Ayih stressed the need for politicians to play the game by the rules and avoid campaigns of blackmail and tendencies capable of causing violence.

The Paramount ruler of Kokona also call on leaders at all levels to be selfless and focus on issues that would foster growth and development of the society.

The NNPP Governorship Candidate of Nasarawa State Alhaji Abdullahi Maidoya was at the palace of the traditional ruler as part of his campaign rally in the state.
