Kano State Deputy Governor and APC Gubernatorial Candidate Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has donated Six point three million naira to the beneficiaries of the skills of the youth acquisition program initiated by the Kano State Science Secondary Schools Old Students Association (KASSOSA).

Gawuna who donated during the Annual General Meeting of the Association at the Yusuf Maitama Sule University stated that skills acquisition programmes were vital for economic growth as it provides job opportunities to the youths and makes them self-reliant.

He enjoined the beneficiaries of the programme to exhibit patience and strive hard to be successful in their endeavours.

The Deputy Governor commended KASSOSA for its foresight in creating programmes to enhance the lives of its members and also encouraged them to redouble efforts toward supporting their alma mater.

Speaking, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KASSOSA, Dr. Muhammad Dahiru Shehu expressed appreciation for the cooperation from members of the association to achieve its objective.

Highlight of the occasion include presentation of award to the Deputy Governor for his tremendous contribution and support to the association.
