Politicians have been cautioned against the dangers of castigating certain ethnic groups during campaigns.

Former National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, gave the warning in Abuja while speaking with newsmen after a meeting he had with President Buhari.

Comrade Oshiomhole noted that such attitude could spark off unpredictable consequences, which could threaten national security and unity.

He called on the electorate to ignore the utterances of such politicians and even reject them, describing them as scammers who have nothing to offer except lies and deceit to garner cheap clout.

He commended President Buhari for his genuine support and the desired goodwill for the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
