Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya has charged personnel to deploy their skills and competencies towards making the country more peaceful and secure.

He gave the charge at the final exercise and graduation ceremony of Exercise Restore Hope III held at the Army training camp in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Lt. General Faruk Yahaya who expressed delight over the impactful performances of troops of Exercise Restore Hope I&II stressed the need for team work to achieve desired results.

He also charged the troops to justify the huge investment on them by being committed to duty in their various areas of deployment.

The Army Chief disclosed that on the orders of the President, there would be no hiding place for those who take up arms against the State.

On next year’s general elections, Lt. General Yahaya assured that the Army would provide a conducive environment for the peaceful conduct of the exercise.

A total of six hundred and forty-seven troops comprising officers and soldiers graduated after undergoing a five month training.

Highlight of the ceremony was the commissioning of student officers’ accommodation and soldiers club at the Nigerian Army School of Artillery, Kachia.
