Niger State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalist NUJ and Chief Press Secretary to Niger state Governor have expressed rude shock over the demise of a veteren and thoroughbred journalist Malam Danladi Ndayebo.

The one time Commissioner for Information and Strategy and former Chief Press Secretary to the former Niger state Governor Muazu Babangida Aliyu died yesterday in a ghastly motor accident on Minna Suleja road.

The condolence message is contained in a separate statements signed by the Secretary of NUJ Comrade Usman Chiji and Chief Press Secretary to Niger state Governor Mrs Mary Noel Berje and made available to Newsmen in Minna.

According to the statement Council Chairman of NUJ Comrade Abu Nmodu described late Danladi Ndayebo as a fountain of knowledge and mentor that tutored many to become professionals both in print and electronic media.

Mrs Mary Noel Berje said the death of Danladi Ndayebo is a monumental loss not only to Niger state but Nigeria as a whole that will be remembered forever.

They appealed to members of his family to see the death as an act of Allah stressing that no one can question the will of Allah.

Former Editor Leadership Newspapers until his death Malam Danladi Ndayebo was the Executive Secretary Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors and is survived by one wife and a child.

He has been burried today in Minna the Niger state capital.
