KNSG, NDE Collaborate On Youth Entrepreneurial Expansion

Kano state government has vowed to partner with the National Directorate of Employment to eradicate unemployment among youths in the state.

A Senior Special Assistant Assistant to Kano state governor, Alhaji Baba Abdullahi made the promise during the graduation ceremony for thirty youths in Kano who were trained on different trade, held at National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Kano.

He said he the state government was doing everything possible to reduce the number of unemployed youths by training them with different skills acquisition and trade to make them self employed .

“We most partner with NDE because this organization is doing well In terms of helping the state government in reducing the high number of unemployed youth that we have in Kano, we will not relent In collaborating efforts together , with the aim of achieving our goals”

Alhaji Baba Abdullahi assured that state government will expand the program to cover the forty four local government in the state, aimed at ensuring that many people benefit from the collaboration between the state and NDE

” I urged you the participants to utilize this golden opportunity,and uphold the traits you’ve been trained on, we hope to see you in the near feature as employers of labour and entrepreneurs.”

In his remarks the Director General of National Directorate of Employment , Malam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo, represented by Sayyid Salahu said the program was aimed at equipping youth in entrepreneurship so that they become self-employed and employers of labour.

The Kano state Coordinator of NDE Malam Inuwa Abdullahi appreciated the state government for the promise they made in collaborating with NDE to reduce the number of unemployed youth through vocational training.

He maintained that thirty youths were selected from Kano senatorial zones, and were trained on how to manage waste to wealth.
