Kebbi State Governor Alhaji Atiku Bagudu has commissioned the forty two kilometers Balago to Auno road in Kiyawa local government area of Jigawa State.

Alhaji Atiku Bagudu who described Governor Badaru Abubakar of jigawa state as a pacesetter in judicious utilization of public funds, pointing out that the newly constructed road would boost socio economic activities in the locality.

In a speech, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar explained that the project was initiated and awarded in December 2018 at the cost of 5.3 billion naira.

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for supporting state Governors with intervention funds which led to the execution of various developmental projects in their respective states.

Also speaking, the commissioner for works and transport, Engineer Aminu Usman Gumel noted that jigawa state had undertaken the project to improve the wellbeing of the people of the area.

The occasion was attended by the state Deputy Governor, Alhaji Umar Namadi, Speaker and members of the Jigawa state House of Assembly, Emir of Dutse among others.
