Governor Badaru Abubukar of Jigawa state has approved the appointment of twelve new Permanent Secretaries to fill the vacancies in the state civil service.

This was contained in a statement signed by the State Head of the Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila and made available to Radio Nigeria in Dutse.

According to him, the successful Directors elevated to the position of Permanent Secretaries include Isah Garba Dallah, Yusuf Mukaddas, Musa Ibrahim Adaha, Adamu Saleh and Engineer Garba Ya’u.

Others are Abba Mustapha Yola, Muhammad Yunusa, Abdu Garba Dutse, Dr. Kabiru Ibrahim Aliyu, Aminu Adamu Ringim, Muhammad Iliya and Ibrahim Tijjani. 

Similarly, the Governor has also approved the appointment of Shehu A. Kaila as new Auditor General, local government audit.

Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila said, the appointment of new auditor general, local government audit is subject to a  confirmation by the State House Assembly.

He said that the appointment of the new permanent secretaries is purely on merit, competency, personal integrity and seniority.

Kila further said all the appointments takes immediate effects.
