Ahead of the People’s Democratic Party Presidential Campaign in Kaduna State, the party has Inaugurated its state, zonal and local government committees as a strategy to achieve victory during the 2023 elections.

At the event, state Chairman of the Party Mr. Felix Hassan Hyet urged the committee members to put interest of the party above any other interest.


Mr. Hassan Hyet disclosed that the Presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar will be spending three days in Kaduna state ahead of his campaign slated for Monday next week.

He announced former Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero as the Chairman of the presidential rally committee who was inaugurated alongside former gubernatorial aspirant of the Party Mohammed Sani Sidi as the deputy Chairman.


According to the party Chairman, Atiku is expected to visit the three senatorial zones of the state because of its uniqueness and also to carry all the zones along.

In his address after the inauguration, former governor Ramalan Yero said the committee will work together as one family to achieve victory in its assignment.

Mallam Ramalan said members of the committees are well experienced and were carefully selected, urging them to be committed in the project aimed at bringing Kaduna State back to its lost glory.

Other members of the committee include; the National Youth Leader, Muhammed Suleiman, Haruna Yunusa Sa’eed, Mohammed Sani Abbas, Shehu Sani and fifty four others.
