The Speaker Zamfara State Assembly, Nasiru Ma’azu Magarya has called on people of the state to support government’s policies and programmes for development of democracy and the country in general.
This was contained in an independence anniversary message, signed by the Director General media and publicity,of the house, Malam Nasiru Biyabuki and made available to newsmen in Gusau, the state capital.
Nasiru Magarya explained that Zamfara State had witnessed various developmental projects in all parts of the state despite the limited resources and internally generated revenue, IGR.
He congratulated federal and Zamfara state governments as well as entire people of the state for witnessing 62th Independence Day Anniversary.
The Speaker also commended Zamfara State Government, Security personnel , Paramilitary Agencies and Emirate councils, for their tireless efforts in Taking the state out of security challenges and the nation in general.
According to the speaker, Zamfara State Assembly had left a history that would be remembered in the legislative proceedings in nigeria .
Nasiru Magarya also urged people of the state to compliment government’s efforts by voting in the forthcoming general elections, in order to bring more devident of democracy to the people at the grassroot levels.
