Kwara State Police Command says it has deployed strategies to arrest fleeing suspects who stabbed and killed two persons at Adifa and Center Igboro area of Ilorin.
In a statement by the Command spokesman ,Okasanmi Ajayi said those killed included Lukman and Kudus all of Ilorin metropolis.
According to the statement the attack was carried out by a group of boys led by one Habeeb Ganiyu of Agbarere area Ilorin ,who allegedly stabbed the deceased several times in the chest.
The statement said the victims were rushed to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital by men of Oja Oba Police station where they were confirmed dead by the doctors on duty.
The statement noted that the command has ordered a discreet investigation into the matter, adding that anyone found to have contributed in the ugly incident will be made to face the full weight of the law.
