Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has picked All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential nomination form for 2023 general election.
This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen by the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on New Media Auwalu Sankara in Dutse.
He said, the Governor has agreed to pick the form after a series of call and consultations with critical party stakeholders and political associate.
Sankara further explained that, the governor has succumbed to the pressures mounted on him to come to serve the nation at the higher capacity.
“Governor Badaru has all the capacity and ideas to lead Nigeria to promising land and I am optimistic that if given the mandate he will proved Nigerians right”
According to him, under Badaru Abubakar, Jigawa is one of the most peaceful state in the federation, with the most inclusive government as every community out of over 12,000 communities in the state has enjoyed minimum of one project.
The Senior Special Assistant said, in terms of Judicial use of public funds, Jigawa is number one, equally in the payment of workers salary and other entitlements, agricultural transformation, construction of over 1500km roads, youth and women empowerment.
Auwalu Sankara therefore assured the APC delegates that if given the party presidential ticket , Governor Badaru has enough track records that can contribute to the party success in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
