Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman, Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), Dr Fayemi Kayode has joined the growing list of those aspiring for the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
At the occasion in Abuja, Governor Kayode said his interest to run for the presidency was to use his strong passion in the Nigerian project to address the challenges of insecurity and the economy.
He promised to implement an agenda that would holistically restructure the security apparatus of the country, skill development, explore agricultural potential and human resources for national development.
He assured Nigerians that his coming into the race was to restore hope and confidence of Nigerians in the country where citizens would be proud of their country where ever they were.
Governor Fayemi promised to be a bridge builder, responsible and accountable leader who would place the citizens first before self to ensure that Nigeria’s 60 years of nationhood didn’t go to waste.
