The Emir of Muri in Taraba State, HRH. Malam Abbas Njidda Tafida has called on pastoralists to embrace modern ways to feed their cattle without necessarily disturbing any farmer.

The Emir made the call in his Sallah message at his palace in Jalingo, the state capital.

Tafida also called on the people of the State especially the youth to avoid indulging in acts capable of destroying their future.

The royal father also cautioned the youth against laziness and drug abuse, advising them to engage in entrepreneurship skills that would better their lives.

He charged the people of the state to stop degrading the environment and engage in tree plantings.

The Emir, however, encouraged his subjects to register and obtain their PVCs to enable them to vote for candidates of their choice and condemned the politics of bitterness amongst politicians in the interest of the nation.
