Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo has urged the newly turbarned Mutawalli of Ilorin ,Dr Alimi AbdulRazq to use his wealth of experience ,and believe in human development in the discharge of his duties to the people of the Emirate and the state in general.
Professor Osinbajo made the call in his speech during the Turbarning of Dr. Alimi AbdulRazq as the second Mutawalli of Ilorin by the Emirs of Ilorin,Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari at the Emirs Place in Ilorin ,Kwara state.
He said the title has found a natural home in the personality given base on his great believe in humanity.
Professor Osinbajo explained that in most cases people are place in the position of authority where they can not discharge their duties ,adding that the repercussions is sharp and enduring as it diminishes the man and the office.
He noted that the track record of excellence of the new Mutawalli ,and his contribution in areas of law,education and humanity had stood him out.
Professor Osinbajo commended the Emir of Ilorin , Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari for conferring the title on a Worthy ambassador of the state.
In his address the Emir if Ilorin , Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari said the title was given to the recipient based on his contribution to humanity.
He urged him to redouble his efforts in bringing more development to people of the Emirate.
In his remark the newly Turbaned Mutawalli of Ilorin,Dr,Alimi AbdulRazq said he will bridge the gap by using his wealth of experience in the discharge of his duties.
He assured that he will use his resources to support the people Emirate
