Wife of the Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, has celebrated the birthday of her husband, Professor Yemi Osinbajo with children IDPs at the North East Children’s Learning Centre in Maiduguri. 

Mrs Dalapo Osinbajo alongside Wife of Borno state Governor Dr Falmata Babagana Zulum and students of North East Learning Centre cutting the 65th birthday cake of Vice President Osinbajo in Maiduguri.

The Center which is a donor-funded school initiated was initiated by her husband in two thousand and seventeen, during his 60th birthday.

The school is designed to provide accommodation, feeding, healthcare and education to about one thousand five hundred children orphaned by Boko Haram across the six states in the North East.

The Vice President’s wife visited during her visit to the Centre interacted with students most of whom were drawn from internally displaced persons camps across the North East. 

She also assessed the display of entrepreneurial skills by the children in different areas that included making of robots, Tailoring and other facilities.

Mrs Osinbajo in a remark qsaid the children are so special and precious to her husband and entire family.

Mrs Osinbajo paid tribute to Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, for his massive developmental efforts towards the state’s restoration. 

Wife of Borno State Governor, Dr. Falmata Babagana Zulum, appreciated the Vice President’s wife for her visit and contributions to sustaining the objectives of the North East Children’s Learning Centre in the last five years. 

Dr. Falmata thanked the Vice President and donors who contributed towards the centre’s establishment, for their humanitarian support, noting that the education and general development of children cannot be left to government alone.

High point of the visit was cutting of cake by Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo supported by the wife of Borno State governor and the children.
