Saudi Arabian Ministry of Interior has lifted most Precautionary Measures against the spread of COVID-19 ahead of this year’s Ramadan 2022.

In a statement, the ministry explains that the abolishment included that of Social Distancing and Physical Distancing in all Mosques in the Kingdom including the Two Holy Mosque.

The Abolishment also affects Institutional Quarantine and submission of PCR tests for those coming to the Kingdom from outside.

Also abolished is the removal of 10 Days waiting period between Umrah Permits.

The statement further explains that the Saudi Authorities have Lifted the Flight Suspension from 17 countries including Nigeria, Afghanistan, South Africa, and Namibia.

Other are Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique and Malawi.

Mauritius, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, Comoros, and Ethiopia also enjoys the lifting of the ban by Saudi Arabia.

The statement, however, explains that some mandatory requirements remain in place.
