Nigerian Army has re-iterated its determination towards tackling security challenges across the country.

Commander Infantry Corps, Major General Victor Ezugwu gave the assurance at the flag off of phase one of the newly constructed obstacle apparatus held at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry Jaji, Kaduna State.

Major General Victor Ezugwu explained that the Army and Infantry in particular was chunking out tactics change of fighting mode to deal decisively with insurgency.

He maintained that with the synergy in the Armed forces and the review in strategy, the Armed forces is more than determined to support the fighting elements to deliver decisive victory for Nigerians.

The Commander who noted that the Army now understands the enemy more than before, however assured that the change of tactics and agility of troops would translate to good results.

Major General Ezugwu pledged the support of Infantry corps to the school for positive transformation.

Earlier, Commandant of Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Major General Maude Gadzama Ali explained that bearing in mind the different terrains that terrorists operate necessitated the need to improvise training facilities, build the stamina of troops to navigate in the terrains and smoke out the terrorists from their hideouts.

He added that the school would soon commence the second phase of the apparatus that would depict mountainous and swampy areas, as well as obstacle ground.

Highlight of the event was the display of attack on enemies by troops.
