Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation has gotten approval from the Federal Executive Council, FEC, to revise its policy.

The Minister, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, explained that the revised policy was designed to enable Nigeria be abreast of the tremendous advances in science, technology and innovation across the globe.

He said it was high time Nigeria used science, technology, and innovation, to improve the standard of living of citizens.

The Minister stressed that the policy would help Nigeria narrow the gap between her and technologically-developed countries, and ultimately become a force to reckon with.
