Zamfara State Governor, Bello Muhammad Matawalle, has approved the immediate reopening of all the Weekly markets and Kara markets across the state.

In a statement signed by the Commissioner of information, Ibrahim Magaji Dosara said, the reopening takes effect from Thursday, the 17th February, 2022.

It noted that Taskforce And all Security Agencies in the state are by the approval, directed to ensure the smooth implementation of the reopening and monitor all activities and conducts of people in both the markets and Kara the markets.

However, Dosara said, No “Yan Saraki or vigilante groups members are allowed to take laws into their hands, both within and around the markets and Kara markets, as government will not take it lightly with anyone found disrupting markets activities.
