Over one hundred and thirty registry staff of the Federal College of Education FCE Zaria, have attended a two-day capacity building training towards improving service delivery.

The Director, Zaria Consultancy Limited of the College Dr Yusuf Dantani stated this during the closing ceremony at the institution’s premises.

He said the workshop was the first of its kind organized locally by the college to improve the registry staff’s efficiency and effectiveness in discharging their duty.

Dantani noted that the essence of the workshop was to train the staff on new techniques of handling files, taking minutes, record keeping and control among others.

He charged participants to convert the knowledge acquired in the workshop into practice.

Also speaking, Deputy Director incharge of training, Faisal Ahmed Imam, explained that at the end of the training, participants were expected to improve in their service.

Some of the participants Adamu Mohammed and Uba Abdulkadir have expressed appreciation to the college management for organising the workshop.
