Kano state government has reiterated its redness to assent financial autonomy for judiciary in the state, if the State House of Assembly pass it into law

The State Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje made the remarks while delivering his speech at 2022 legal year that was held at Kano state high court of Justice.

Ganduje said he is ready to assent the financial autonomy , saying his Administration was according much Priority to the judiciary ,with the aim of sustaining the Nations Democracy.

Ganduje assured that the executive arms of government was highly committed towards ensuring independent and financial autonomy of judiciary in the state.

He noted that his Administration had injected alot of money in renovating many courts across the 44 local government of the state.

The Governor promised to purchase Additional vehicles to Justices of high court aimed at easing their day to day Activities.

In his speech the chief Justice of the state Justice Nura Sagir said judiciary has recorded numerous successes in terms of recruiting and Promotion of staff, infrastructural development, training and retaining of staff , law reform and sponsoring new bills Among others .

He commended Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for the support given to the judiciary sector in the state, and urged all the judges in the state to ensure that justice prevails in all their proceedings .

who was kidnapped and kill by her teacher.
