President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Kaduna for a two-day official visit to inaugurate some Projects in Kaduna metropolis, Zaria and Kafanchan after attending the inauguration of President Adama Barrow of Gambia.
He was received at the Airport by Governor Nasiru Elrufai, the State Deputy governor, Dr ,Hadiza Balarabe, Senators Uba Sani and Senator Abdu Kwari as well as other top members of the State Executive Council among others.
The President is expected to inaugurate a number of projects executed by Governor Elrufai’s administration during the visit in the three major cities of the state Under Urban Renewal project.
Some of the projects espected to be inaugurated, some are in Kafanchan, Zaria and Kaduna but the critical projects are in Kaduna City Such as the biggest Kawo flyover bridge, the new bridge has a dual carriageway with shoulder and pedestrian walkway on the sides.
however the bridge was designed with 3 ground roundabouts under it
Leventis Underpass would also be inaugurated including Roads, Schools, Remodeling of Murtala Square Kaduna among other key projects.
Other Urban Renewal Projects expected to be commissioned by Mr President are in Zaria and Kafanchan
Security personnel are on strategic locations to ensure smooth inauguration of the projects by President Mohammadu Buhari.
