Kebbi State Government has confirmed the release of thirty students and one teacher of Federal Government College, FGC Birnin Yauri.

The FGC students and staff arrived Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi state capital on Saturday.

Government said they would undergo medical screening and support before being reunited with their families.

On the 21st of October, 2021, twenty seven students and three staff of the same school were released and brought to Birnin Kebbi and have already been reunited with their families.
