Inadequate funds to boarding secondary schools across the Kaduna state is one of the factors hindering the improvement of education.

A cross section of Kufena College Old Boys Association class of 2005 made the statement during their first reunion meeting at science secondary schools Kufena college Zaria.

Kufena college Zaria is one of the oldest school in Zaria and has produced many dignitaries across the nation, among which is the late chief of staff to Mr, president Buhari, alhaji Abba kyari and some serving senators among others.

But presently the position of the school has become worrisome and needs urgent attention.

speaking to radio Nigeria, the interim committee chairman. Anas Muhammad Buhari Expressed sadness over the conditions of the school as well as structures and furniture.

Anas Muhammad Promised to assist the school to produce more changes to improve the standard of the school.

He appealed to the Kaduna state government to intensify efforts at reviewing the current fund allocation and policies towards providing more facilities in the college.

Similarly, in a message, the principal of the school, Alhaji Ahmed Mahmud Ibrahim expressed hope that the reunion meeting had become an avenue to produce positive change in the college.

Alhaji Ahmed Mahmud attributed the lack of active leadership of the pioneer old boys association in the college as their major challenges .

Some old boys who graduated in 2005 Zaharradeen Ibrahim and Nuel Emanuel Sanko promised to give their best to assist the college in facing global challenges.
