Christians have been urged to use the period of Christmas celebrations to reawaken their spiritual consciousness and support the needy.

The Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Kwara state Sunday Adewole made the call while Speaking with newsmen in Ilorin.

According to him Christians should make effort to assist those in need without them asking.

He advised them to ensure they work towards achieving the spiritual and physical benefit of Christmas celebrations.

Bishop Adewole appealed to members to observe all Non- pharmaceutical protocol to prevent the spread of Omicron ,the new variant of COVID-19
