Communities revaged by insurgency in parts of Niger state have been directed to work out modalities on how to fish out bad eggs amongst them.

This is with a view to assisting security agencies in curtailing the problem.

State Governor Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello gave the directive when he visited Mashegu local government council for an the spot assessment towards reversing the ugly trend.

According to him it is also to enable them restrategise and plan on how to prevent reoccurence.

Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello who interacted with some affected communities of Tungan Baare, Maza kuka, and Adogan Malam explained that his administration remain resolute in tackling all forms of criminality in Niger state.

He also advised them to be vigilant and observant of the activities in their neighbourhood and provide intelligence to security agencies.

In his remarks, Ward Head of Tungan Baare Mallam Garba Aliyu described the incident as horrible stressing that their men and women wẹre taken away by armed bandits.

He also called on the Niger state govẹrnment to empower the Vigilante for maximum benefits.
