Kano state House of Assembly has adopted the report of its standing committee on appropriation in respect of the 2021 proposed supplementary appropriation bill.

The adoption was sequel to a report presented by the chairman of the committee Alhaji Abba Ibrahim Garko during plenary session presided over by the speaker,Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari.

Presenting the report at a plenary, the committee Chairman Alhaji Abba Ibrahim Garko said , the supplementary budget of over forty billion naira has scaled the required stages and adopted by the house to allow the executive accelerate in infrastructural development.

The committee chairman noted that, if passed into law, the 2021 appropriation bill would also contribute in financing recurrent services of personnel and over head cost to avoid running into fiscal deficits during the outgoing year.

After an extensive deliberations, the lawmakers unanimously adopted the report and adjourned its sitting.
