Gunmen suspected to be bandits have again struck Tegina Rafi Local Government Council of Niger state and abducted four people.
The attack is coming barely four months after the Tegina Islamiyya school pupils were released by their abductors.
Headmaster Tegina Islamiyya school Malam Abubakar Alhassan barely escaped abduction ten minutes after leaving the mosque for an urgent matter when the gunmen struck.
Speaking to Radio Nigeria in a telephone interview Mal Abubakar Alhassan said his escape from being abducted was an act of God.
He explained that three business men and one civil servant were abducted by the gunmen
The bandits who came on motorcycles started shooting sporadically to scare the people before abducting the victims to an unknown destination.
At the time of filing in this report the armed bandits were yet to communicate with their family members for ransom
Security has been tight within and outside Tegina in Rafi Local Government Council of Niger state where the incident occurred.
