The All Progressives Congress APC in jigawa has elected the state former ALGON chairman, Alhaji Aminu Sani Gumel as Chairman of the party through a consensus.

Other Party executives were also emerged through the same processes and affirmed by the state delegates at the Aminu Kano Triangle Dutse.

The Chairman of the congress committee from the APC headquarters, Alhaji Haruna Musa explained that all the executives were emerged in accordance with the party’s constitution.

Haruna Musa therefore declared the state congress concluded which the executives will run the affairs of the party for 4 years in the state.

He expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the congress and commended stakeholders, party leaders for the smooth conduct of the congress.

The Newly Jigawa State APC Chairman, Alhaji Aminu Sani Gumel

In a speech, the newly elected Chairman, Alhaji Aminu Sani Gumel promised to justify the confidence repose on him by all stakeholders.

He reiterated his commitment towards working for the unity and progress of the party in the state and the country in general.

Aminu Sani Gumel commended Governor Badaru Abubakar, party leaders as well as members for the support given to him to lead the party.

Radio Nigeria reports that the new executives include Nasiru Dahiru Jahun as state Deputy chairman, Mannir Uba Gumel as vice Chairman North, Isah Baba Buji as Vice Chairman Central and Abdullahi Ango emerged as Vice Chairman East.

Others also include Ibrahim Ya’u Gagarawa as Youth leader while Dayyaba Shu’aibu emerged as women leader and Indo Ado as Assistant women leader among others.

Meanwhile, Governor Badaru Abubakar has congratulated the new executive members of the All Progressive Congress APC over the consensus congress in the state.

In a statement, to Radio Nigeria by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Public Relations Alhaji Habibu Nuhu Kila explains that the congress was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere.

It commended the APC stakeholders for resilience and commitment for the success of the congress.

The statement urged the new executive members to live up to the expectations and ensure that the party wins every election in the state. 

It also says that Governor Badaru Abubakar has assured continued support to provide good governance and be accountable to the people.
