Resumption of Operations of International Flights at Aminu Kano International Airport Kano has been Described as a mile Stone in boosting Commercial activities in Kano state being the commercial Hub of the Nation.

The President of Kano chamber of commerce ,industry ,mines and agriculture KACIMMA Alhaji Dalhatu Usman stated this while addressing newsmen shortly after the Saudi Airlines resumed it’s Operations at Aminu Kano International Airport.

He said the resumption of international flights at Makia was a great Development in aspect of reviving Commercial Activities, Especially with regards to the Covid 19 pamdemic which had negative impact on business Activities.

“The Stoppage of international Flights in Kano was a great set back to the Business Community in Kano Our Business people in Kano have been encountering serious Challenges ,but now with the resumption of the Flights especially Kano to saudia Arabia, more Opportunities will come out way and the Economy would be boosted”

He Aplauded efforts of federal government in ensuring the International Flight Resumes full Operations , Stressing that the Gesture would lead Commercial Activities to Achieve greater heights.

Speaking shortly after cutting the cake marking the resumption of the normal flights activities in Kano, over the weekend, Saudi Arabian head of the Consular Mission in Kano, Alhaji Khalid Ali Ahamad Adamawi said the resumption of the flights operations had been conceived to give intending Umrah pilgrims to travel to the holy land after carefully examining the current realities on ground.

He said he was highly impressed with the sophisticated facilities he met on ground which had gingered his confidence to be optimistic about hitch free flights operations from Kano to the holy land thrice on weekly basis adding that observing the Covid-19 protocols had become imperative, for the intending Umrah pilgrims ‘ safety net to be ensured.

He pointed out that installing the state of the art facilities at the International wing of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport(MAKIA), was a clear demonstration of the government’s commitment towards putting hope in the minds of the Saudi Arabian government that the resumption of the suspended flights operation would be feasible.

While commending the Saudi Arabian government for taking the decision to resume the normal flights operations in Kano thrice on a weekly basis, Abubakar however stated that travellers from the northern part of the country are poised to benefit from the exercise.

The Saudi Arabia head of Consular Mission in Kano was Accompanied by a friend of the Saudi Arabia Alhaji Haruna Zago.
